Thank you for choosing Vinestead International’s Virtual Reality Network (“VNet”) as your platform for immersive digital experiences. We are committed to safeguarding your personal information and are writing to inform you of a recent security incident that may have involved data associated with your account.

What Happened?

Vinestead International became aware of unauthorized activity within VNet infrastructure on March 29, 2025. A security investigation was immediately launched in coordination with internal teams and a subsidiary forensic firm. Initial findings confirmed that an unauthorized individual obtained access to specific VNet systems over a period of 19 hours between March 27 and March 28, 2025.

We completed a thorough forensic review of system logs, access patterns, and associated data repositories. On April 15, 2025, we determined that a set of files containing user-related data had been accessed during the incident. At this time, there is no evidence that the information has been misused.

What Information Was Involved?

The data that may have been accessed includes:

• Your full name and preferred aliases used within VNet
• Date of birth, government-issued identification numbers (as entered for identity verification purposes)
• Your VNet browsing and location history, including all modes of use (standard, incognito, and shadow)
• Stored conversations with your VNet-assigned Personal Assistant, including flagged and deleted threads
• Biometric data captured from your immersion rig during VNet access, such as emotional response profiles and neural engagement telemetry
• Pass-through video data from immersion rigs with external cameras, whether they were active or not
• Passwords and credential hashes from the VNet Privileged Access Management System
• Personalized avatar models and uploaded media files
• Wallet information tied to in-platform transactions, including purchase history

While we currently have no evidence of misuse, we are notifying you so that you can take proactive steps to monitor and protect your identity and online presence.

What Are We Doing?

We want to be clear: Vinestead International will not stand idle while malicious actors attempt to destabilize our systems and endanger the privacy of law-abiding citizens. What occurred was not a prank or simple cyber mischief—it was a deliberate, calculated intrusion into the private lives of millions. This domestic terrorism will not be tolerated. The individuals responsible are not “hackers” or “revolutionaries.” They are criminals.

We are working with federal authorities and international partners to identify those responsible. When we find them—and we will—we will pursue every available legal avenue to ensure they are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. There will be consequences.

In the meantime, we have initiated comprehensive security countermeasures, including immediate credential invalidation, full encryption audits, and the deployment of new behavioral intrusion detection systems across the VNet platform. We have also notified the appropriate intelligence and cybersecurity agencies.

Additionally, we are offering all affected users complimentary enrollment in Vinestead Identity Protection Elite™ for 30 days. This service includes identity monitoring, breach alerts, and a monthly personal security score. After the initial period, your subscription will continue automatically at $39.99 per month unless canceled.
