30 for 30: Day 23

Jetson will eat anything. It’s pretty disgusting sometimes when he’s outside. Inside, it’s not so much disgusting as it is annoying. You’ve really got to keep an eye on your food in this house. Today’s 3F3 is from the time Jetson stole my Chipotle. I remember…

The year is 2017. I’m 37 years old.

I suppose it had always been cute before, the way Jetson would snatch your food if you so much as turned your back. To this day, he continues to eat Matador’s meals and snacks when they’re left unattended. Usually, once Jetson gets his mouth on some food, it’s gone, forget about it; he’ll swallow it in one bite.

What was funny about my burrito was that it was still wrapped in foil, so Jetson didn’t try to down it. It was also full of their hottest sauce, so I wasn’t keen on letting him eat it. I don’t remember how long the standoff lasted, but it was long enough to snap a photo. I did manage to get the foil away from him, at which point he downed the rest in one gulp.

I love Jetson. Even when he’s annoying us by stealing our food. I think it’s the fact that he has no shame. He’ll run into a room, grab your food, and just saunter away like nothing happened.

He’s a good boy. Yes he is.
