What’s She Wearing?

I came across this Tumblr post a while back and had to bookmark it because I always feel foolish describing clothes on women. There was a period in my writing where women always wore blouses and skirts and pretty much nothing else because I didn’t know the names of the other things. I still have that problem, and I’m a grown ass man. Thankfully, you don’t have to suffer as I did. Fantastic! It’s been a long time since I experience a “can’t put it down” book. I couldn’t put this one down. One part science fiction, one part psychological thriller, and 100% edge of your seat thrill ride. The characters are complex and delightful. The plot is well thought out and solid. The little clues along the way… little things that made me roll my eyes at the continuity error… Let’s just say when it suddenly makes sense, it’s like a kick in the gut (and I mean that in a very good way). Perion Synthetics is a great read. If you are not familiar with the author, then I would highly recommend checking out the latest addition to his collection. It is masterfully written, thoughtfully put together, and the chapter arrangement is a refreshing change from your standard “near future” fiction. I would eagerly recommend this to both new comers and die-hards alike, I won’t spoil anything for you, but let’s just say you’re in for a treat! Related
